"My family and I arrived in the Hampton Roads area house hunting in December 2007. Our search took us throughout Virginia Beach, finally settling in Chesapeake, specifically Dove Acres. Upon seeing information for some new houses off Butterfly Drive, my wife and I decided to take a further look with our Realtor. What we first noticed in our Preston Home is the attention to detail on the interior and the upgraded features offered– (granite counter-tops; custom cabinetry; light fixtures, hardwood floors, etc.) - sort of like that “you read my mind” feeling, if you had the choice to pick out the colors/flooring/cabinets, and the sort.
In addition, while viewing the property on several occasions, the builder, Tara Preston stopped during each visit to answer any questions about the property. Tara was very professional and very knowledgeable of her custom homes and their features, and was willing to discuss further options to make us feel comfortable in our choice, to include the potential for any changes. Our experience with Preston Homes was very positive; Tara was never pushy toward “making a sale” during our purchase process and portrayed a quality that she wanted people purchasing her properties to feel at ease and satisfied with their purchase."
